no genius

theres no genius
theres only hardworking people perceived as one
maybe yes. but there's no pre-installed knowledge
maybe some people learn things faster
but a lazy genius will most probably lose out in the end
all in all, it still depends on the effort u're willing to put
a persistent hardworking shit eventually beats a sluggish genius
u get what u work for
lessons learnt the hard way slaps you harder and makes you wiser
theres no short cut

recollection

moderate stress is good but over stress can be devastating.

listen to your body else it will fail on you.
determination is a fucked up thing, in other words, it's forcing yourself to go against your heart and body and push yourself over a limit.

they say you never know your limit until you have really tried something freaking hard, but before that, how do you know whether you are able to bear with the limit? when you have reached a self-defined limit;since nobody knows their own limit until they have reached one and felt that what they are experiencing is truly one. so when you get there, how can you be sure that the damaging process towards this breakthrough is recoverable or reversible?

when you refuse to listen to your body to get a rest or relax when u're supposed to, your body eventually fails on you. and you need even more time to relax to compensate for the damage you have done to yourself compared to the time spent focusing on your studies/job/etc in an over-stressed mode, yet in the end you get so little out of it.

they say don't let your heart control you but in fact you should control it. this is a fucked up theory. when you believe you can control your heart, you try to force your body and mind into something more than what you can handle. it is ok in short term, but in long term, you have to bear the impacts it has on you on social, mental, health and every other aspects.

we grow up through different experiences, and it requires time. it can be accelerated, but watch out for the price to pay. throughout all these processes, remember to rest, everybody. keep the stress level moderate, stop whatever it is you're doing before stress builds up and destroys you, then perhaps you could perform even better when you resume it later.

there are more important things in life than what you're currently working on. find out what it is to you, and strive towards it. don't solely focus on your achievement, it drains away other aspects of your life. stop missing out the fun in life. life isn't so bad, it all depends on your priority. so don't live blindly.. but don't push yourself too much though.. enjoy life more.. cut some slack. don't be foolish.start listening to your heart.. then you will unleash what is most fulfilling to you within yourself.

2010 resolutions

Here are my 2010 resolutions..
1.Learn and memorize all necessary guitar chords (hopefully will be able to play in church during singspiration next year). But first of all I should get a guitar ;p Guitar is much practical compared to violin. How often can I play violin?! and imagine myself strumming it while singing my fav songs.. hmm

2.Continue to practice violin and join SONS (State Symphony Orchestra of Sarawak)

3.Have faith and continue to strive in distance relationship.

4.Strive in studies

5.Make full use of my time but nevertheless don't stress myself out into an emo ass cuz that's just not gonna help.

6.Find more time to relax and spend more time for people and not object.

7.Brushing up social skills with all sorts of people by involving myself in as many activities as I could. Make myself more approachable & learn to speak out wisely.

8.Don't say 'No' easily especially when given a whole new task.Don't say 'I don't know how' because nobody knows how until they are keen to learn. Close your eyes and run into it, then see what you can learn from there. Believe me, you won't regret.

9.Spend money appropriately.

10.Make sure I achieve all of above.

What's yours..?
